We had such an awesome July! Unfortunately we were too busy doing fun things to actually post anything (thus the "ooper"), so here's a catch-up:
We went swimming with my family on the 4th. The water was just a little cool and the kids were not overly excited about being in it.
This awesome goat was trying to say hi...or just eat the weeds.
I think the kids had as much fun exploring the awesome yard as anything.
Just a couple of random shots of Erin, she's so funny.
We've been working too. Ben was helping Daddy paint boards to put shelves in the kids' closets. We also did a little decorating.
This is how Noah helps.
We also went to our Pioneer Day parade here in town.
The next weekend we went camping with my parents. It was a quick trip, but the kids had a GREAT time! Noah and I bunked down in the Expedition while Ben & Erin slept in a TENT with their daddy.
Coloring is way more fun outside.
It's not a campout if you don't get to use roasting sticks!
There were chipmunks everywhere, we had three get stuck in the outhouse tent.
These two really are the best of friends.
The kids did awesome in the tent. They got more sleep in there than we did in the car.
Just leave me a little something right here, please.
The same day we came back from the campout we had plans with some special dinner guests. Brandon's friends, Ammon and Nephi, stopped in for dinner. These guys go WAY back. We only see Nephi's family about once a year. It was great to have everyone together for a few hours.
Insert Pillsbury laugh here...
Our last July adventure was riding Front Runner up to the train museum in Ogden. We had been to the museum before, but my kids had never ridden on any kind of train, so this was a real thrill.
Erin being adorable at the Gateway food court before we headed out.
Ben & Jen, they rhyme and match!
We ran out of time to eat our lunch, so we had to do some munching on the train.
I think all the grandkids had lots of fun. Thanks Nana and papa for a super duper July!
