Noah- Check out this adorable guy! He hit 6 months on the 11th, so we did a little photo shoot and he was the most cooperative of the group! Noah is such a good baby. He's happy, smiley, and pretty easy going about most everything. He's super social, so much so that it is sometimes hard to get him to eat or go to sleep because he wants to be part of the conversation or just make cute faces at you. He didn't catch on to rolling until about a month ago. Then he was in the phase of rolling onto his tummy and being stuck, which made him mad. That only lasted about a week however, now he can make it across the room faster than I realize sometimes. His newest favorite trick is blowing raspberries, which always gets a good reaction from his sibling audience. He also figured out how to play 'peekaboo', pulling the blanket up and down over his own face! At his 6 month checkup he weighed 18 lbs 14 oz and was 28 1/4 inches long. This put him at 94% for height and 72% for weight. Now that he's moving, I'm sure he'll transform into a tall and skinny kid just like the other 2.
Ben- It's hard to believe Ben will be 5 this year. I'm glad I have one more year with him before he starts kindergarten. Ben is the ideal older brother. He's patient and kind, and an eager helper. He will do things like quietly explain to Erin how to behave better to get out of trouble, or clean a room to surprise me, or be goofy just to keep Noah happy 'til I can get him. This summer Ben has taken off on reading. He's still a beginner, but the concept has clicked and he's eager to master the skill. His favorite activities are drawing/coloring and playing with his bag of little things. He carries this bag everywhere, pulling out little dinosaurs, animals, sea creatures and such.
Erin- Oh little miss Erin. She's definitely the spunky one of the group, but even still she's a sweet little princess. She's a daddy's girl through and through. Most mornings she begs daddy for "one more hug" then starts telling him, "I miss you SO much, I miss you daddy." I don't know how he makes it out the door! She's also the 'mini mommy' of the house. She has pink baby to take care of all day, but takes on the additional duties of alerting me to Noah's every need and telling Ben what to do at any given moment. She thinks she is as big as Ben, and talks as if she is sometimes. She's going to be pretty sad when he starts preschool without her again, but next year will be her year. Her favorite activity involves some kind of pretend play with Ben. They play house, animals, explorers, and more. She is in LOVE with Tinkerbell. Even months before she saw a single Tinkerbell movie, she was enchanted by the character. (This should make birthday and Christmas shopping fairly simple!) So, for now, we're just enjoying the ups and downs with our fairy princess.
