The harvest. Really I love this picture because you can see what Erin thinks of her Big Brother.
Apparently it was still warm enough to swim in September.
I had to snap one of Ben taking lawn clippings from the front and dumping them in the garden to help Daddy get his chores done.
Lovin' the garden strawberries!
"George Juice" mustaches- only true Curious George fans will understand.
The Airport...
We're still doing the co-op preschool for Ben and in September they talked about aircrafts. Fortunately this coincided with our city's airport openhouse!
There were helicopters and airplanes taking off and landing just yards away from where we stood. It was nonstop action!
Noah, however, was less than impressed with all the loud noise.
Next, we were off to the ZOO!!!
We grabbed Daddy, Nana, and our best friends and went for a weekday trip to the zoo.
Fall time means less crowds, but it also means no elephant or bird shows. :(
The kids weren't too terribly disappointed that the 'scary elephant' was out of commission. They thought the fence was a nice addition in fact.
Since the zoo is under construction, why not have an interactive construction zone? Genius.
Bigger than a baby gorilla.
The tigers were out and active.
Here's all the kidlets at the end. We all had a fun and tiring day.
Randomness:
Erin has always insisted on picking out her own clothes. When the snowpants emerged, I had to start placing restrictions on what occasions she could dress herself for. This outfit has been limited to the house and backyard. Soon enough that baseball will be a snowball and she won't look quite so...random.
She likes to accessorize as well.
This handsome little guy turned 7 months in August. Love those baby blue eyes!
